Storrow Drive is the major cross town expressway which runs along the southern border of the Charles River. Drivers use the route for quick access to dowtown Boston locations such as Beacon Hill, Fenway Park, and the Hatch Shell. Many people can be seen walkng, jogging, roller-blading, biking, picnicking, or sailing along it's Charles River side or catching one of the many free events, including the Boston Pops 4th of July Concert, at the Hatch Shell. Framing it's south are the skyscrapers, high-rises and famed brownstones of the Back Bay.
